BackTrack 4 pre final (VirtualBox image only)

Very important note:
The user accounts configured in the installation are:
root with password root
user with password user
Change them to your liking after powering on BackTrack 4 :)
BackTrack 4 is Ubuntu/Debian based distro now Easier to configure.
This is a complete dvd installation of BackTrack 4 fre final in VirtualBox. The file used for installation was: bt4-pre-final.iso it's a free download.
In order to use it you have to have Virtualbox installed on your system.
Grab your very own free copy of Virtualbox from:
http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
Provided that you have Virtualbox already installed , you can just create your new virtual machine following the menus inside virtualbox.
In no time you'll got BackTrack 4 pre final up and running. I apply a very short but illustrative video how to get the things done. The video is made in Ubuntu linux but i am sure these operations won't differ much in the windows version of virtualbox , except for the sound setting but these should be easy.
Modifications I took the liberty to make things easier a bit:
1. Installed Virtualbox Guest Additions 3.0.4 for linux in BackTrack so no need to worry about these.
2. edited the xorg.conf to load the guest addtions video driver vboxvideo for better video support and enable composite extension.
3. enabled networking at startup ( for some reason that's not the case with a brand new installation) - so we got networking up and ready for the job.
3. installed kdm display manager for more intuitive logging into the desktop.
4. that image is 10GB fixed image for backtrack 4 , inside that image 503MB are devoted to swap , space should be enough for offensive security.
5. Updated the installation with apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade.
If you read everything till now and had a quick look at the video , I hope you'll meet no problems enjoying BT4.
